I want to take a moment to address the videos from this past weekend. Before the event, I debated even going, because I knew I would not be able to film in the arena like I normally do. Normally, I’m right there ringside, steady and close, giving you the best quality angles to study frame by frame. Since I just had a baby, I couldn’t risk having her in the arena with me, so I had to film from the stands. I tried to make it work with what I had, but I’ll be honest, looking back, I should have just sat this one out.
Because I knew ahead of time that the quality would not be what I normally promise, I lowered the price by $15 per video. Even so, I want to acknowledge that some of these videos still do not meet my personal standards. The angles were harder, the footage was shakier, and in some cases the horse’s legs weren’t always visible. That’s not the level of quality I want to be known for.
To anyone who is disappointed, I completely understand. Please reach out to me directly, and I’ll be happy to make it right. No hard feelings at all, I only want to offer products I’m proud of, and this weekend’s work fell short of that for me personally.
I also want to be transparent moving forward. With a new baby, it’s much harder for me to film at the standard I hold myself to. I don’t know if or when I’ll be able to offer event videography/photography again, because I refuse to provide anything less than my best. I appreciate your understanding and support, and I’ll always be honest about what I can deliver.
