Prayer is one of those things that sounds simple, yet it has the power to change everything.

Lately, God has been teaching me to pray about everything. Not just the big decisions or the moments when I feel overwhelmed, but the small things too. The daily worries. The business decisions. The things Iā€™m excited about. The things Iā€™m surrendering.

Prayer isnā€™t about having all the right words. Itā€™s about bringing our hearts before the Lord and trusting Him with what we carry.

The same is true in marriage. One of the greatest gifts you can give your relationship is learning to pray together. Not because it makes life perfect, but because it keeps your hearts aligned with the One who is.

Before seeking everyoneā€™s opinion, pray.
Before worrying, pray.
Before making the plan, pray.

There is peace that comes from placing everything in His hands. šŸ¤

Some seasons of life feel like theyā€™re gone in the blink of an eye.

Between planning a wedding, dreaming about the future, and counting down the days until ā€œI do,ā€ itā€™s easy to rush through this chapter without realizing just how special it is.

Thatā€™s why I love engagement sessions so much. Just two people soaking in the excitement of forever together!

Ally and Lane spent the afternoon wandering through the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, laughing, holding each other close, and simply enjoying this season before it becomes a memory. And if these photos are any indication, their wedding day is going to be something truly special.

One of the most beautiful things about a wedding day is realizing it was never just about the couple alone. šŸ¤

Itā€™s about community.

The grandparents who prayed for this season long before it arrived.
The parents who raised and guided you.
The siblings, cousins, childhood friends, college roommates, bridesmaids, and groomsmen who walked through life beside you before this chapter began.
