Sneak peeks from a perfect day🤍 Celebrating Marti and Hudson is such a blessing.

Some wedding days don’t go according to the original plan... but somehow, they end up being even more beautiful than anyone could have imagined.

Marti + Hudson were originally set to say “I do” at Covered Bridge Venue, but after the devastating tornado that swept through and left the venue with significant damage, they were faced with the unexpected task of reimagining their wedding day just weeks before it was supposed to happen.

Instead of letting the circumstances steal their joy, they embraced a new plan with so much grace. With the help of an incredible team of vendors, their day came together so seamlessly, and you truly never would’ve known it wasn’t Plan A.

The love, the laughter, the happy tears, the people surrounding them, and the overwhelming joy made this day unforgettable. It’s such a beautiful reminder that while weddings don’t always unfold exactly how we picture them, the heart behind the day is what matters most. God has a way of working everything together in ways we could never imagine.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Lutz!! Thank you for trusting me to capture such a special chapter of your story. I can’t wait to share more from this incredible day! 🤍

The Lord has been doing a lot of refining in my heart over the last few years, and I wanted to share something with you all.

When I first started my business, I photographed just about everything. Seniors, families, couples, newborns, maternity, weddings... if you needed photos, I was there. Every session and every client helped shape me into the photographer and business owner I am today, and I’ll forever be grateful for that!

But over the years, I’ve continued to notice where my heart comes alive.

It’s weddings.

It’s the anticipation before the ceremony.
The tears during first looks.
The quiet moments no one else notices.
The celebration.
The covenant.
The beginning of a marriage.

There is something so incredibly special about documenting a day that points to something so much bigger than ourselves. Every wedding reminds me of God’s faithfulness, His design for marriage, and the privilege it is to preserve memories that families will treasure for generations.

I truly believe this is where the Lord has been leading me, and I feel so blessed that He’s given me the opportunity to serve couples in this way.

Because of that, I’m officially transitioning my business to focus on weddings and wedding-related portrait sessions, including engagements, bridals, and proposals.

As we head into this fall and beyond, I won’t be taking on new family or graduate sessions.

If you’re one of my longtime family clients who’s trusted me for years, or you’re one of my wedding couples who’s now growing your family, this doesn’t apply to you!🤍 You will always have a special place in my business, and I would absolutely love to continue documenting those milestones with you.

To every family, senior, and client who’s trusted me over the years, thank you. You helped build this dream into what it is today, and I’ll never take that for granted.

I’m so excited for this next chapter and even more excited to see where God continues to lead.

Prayer is one of those things that sounds simple, yet it has the power to change everything.

Lately, God has been teaching me to pray about everything. Not just the big decisions or the moments when I feel overwhelmed, but the small things too. The daily worries. The business decisions. The things I’m excited about. The things I’m surrendering.

Prayer isn’t about having all the right words. It’s about bringing our hearts before the Lord and trusting Him with what we carry.

The same is true in marriage. One of the greatest gifts you can give your relationship is learning to pray together. Not because it makes life perfect, but because it keeps your hearts aligned with the One who is.

Before seeking everyone’s opinion, pray.
Before worrying, pray.
Before making the plan, pray.

There is peace that comes from placing everything in His hands. 🤍

Some seasons of life feel like they’re gone in the blink of an eye.

Between planning a wedding, dreaming about the future, and counting down the days until “I do,” it’s easy to rush through this chapter without realizing just how special it is.

That’s why I love engagement sessions so much. Just two people soaking in the excitement of forever together!

Ally and Lane spent the afternoon wandering through the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, laughing, holding each other close, and simply enjoying this season before it becomes a memory. And if these photos are any indication, their wedding day is going to be something truly special.
