📸✨Let me re-introduce myself! ✨📸

Hey friends 👋 I’m Rhita, a photographer, dog mom, veteran, and lover of good books and heavy weights.

I’ve been behind the camera for about 15 years, capturing everything from portraits to military photography all over the globe. Over the past decade, I’ve served in the military (both active duty Marine Corps and with the Army National Guard), and now I work at a small college in Virginia.

A couple of years ago, I pressed pause on photography to earn my Master’s in Marketing at William & Mary and get married. Now that I’m finished and fully decompressed, I’m so excited to be back to doing what I love most — creating images that tell stories and capture people as they truly are.

I cover many areas of photography, but portraits have my heart. There’s nothing like freezing a moment that shows someone’s personality and spirit.

Had the amazing opportunity to cover the Birthday Ball for Virginia's recruitment command last month. As a USMC who enlisted out of Virginia myself, this was a great chance to see the ceremony from an outside perspective and to reconnect with some Marines from my past.
