Hey, Howdy, Hey! Long time no see 😉
I thought I was done with photography. Literally, in April of this year, I was catching up with a friend and saying "ya I guess that was just for a time, but I just got so burnt out!"
Turns out it all came down to the wrong perspective! I hate to say it but, I was viewing my business from a very self-centered lens. "What could I get out of this."
I dove into any and every form of business education you could think of. ALL OF IT telling me to price higher, so as to not be taken advantage of. The more I leaned into that advice the less business I had. Eventually, I called it quits.
When I heard a mom of seven say they hadn’t gotten pictures taken of their family since their second was a baby I realized there was a whole group of people left behind with this line of thinking. Those who deeply appreciated and desired beautiful photos but had to prioritize putting food on the table.
Though I no longer have the time for all the photography frills, I still want families to always have the ability to afford beautiful photos and never miss capturing a moment of blessing.
While I'm still getting everything back up and running smoothly I have been so joyfully overwhelmed since God shifted my perspective in this way. My clients are the best, and I have been so blessed getting to work with them!
