A little note about sneak peeks, and a little glimpse into what happens behind the scenes. 🩷
I know how exciting it is to leave a session and think, “I wonder how they turned out!” I completely understand the excitement and anticipation of wanting to see just one or two photos while you wait for your gallery. Believe me, I get it. 🥹
The reason I don’t offer sneak peeks isn’t because I don’t want to share them with you. It’s actually quite the opposite. I care so deeply about the work I deliver to each of you, and I want to give your entire gallery the time and attention it deserves.
I am currently shooting seven days a week, and in between sessions, I’m editing, answering messages, planning, preparing, delivering galleries, balancing my personal life and also keeping up with all of the little things that happen behind the scenes of running a business.
When I sit down to edit, I work through galleries in order. And I truly mean every single photo! I don’t use AI to edit your images, I don’t send them off to an editing service, and I don’t use shortcuts to get galleries out faster. I personally go through and edit each and every image myself. It does take time. A lot of it. But it is SO worth it. 🩷
So while posting a few sneak peeks may seem like a small thing, adding them into the middle of my workflow would actually pull me away from the gallery that is currently in front of me and can ultimately slow down the process for everyone.
I would much rather have you wait a little longer and then open your gallery to find an entire collection of photographs that I have poured my heart into, rather than rushing a few images out just to have something posted.
Please know that when you’re waiting on your gallery, you are not forgotten. Your memories are not sitting on a hard drive untouched. I am working through them, one by one, with so much love, care and intention.
Photography is something I genuinely love, and the people I get to photograph mean so much to me. More than words can say! Thank you all for always being patient with me, for trusting me, and for understanding that there is a real person behind every gallery you receive. 🫶
