When I started shooting weddings in the 00s, I was shooting only 35mm film. I think my favorite film/scene combo was some black and white T-MAX 3200 during a reception. While I haven’t shot a wedding with film in many years, sometimes I find similar results while shooting and editing digital. Grainy images with nice contrast and lots of character. These photos of Kayla and Nate are giving me 3200 vibes and a nostalgic smile on my face.

Can anyone else relate to these social media woes? Work and life gets hectic and then suddenly a few months have passed without a post… Now there are so many things I’d like to share but indecision on what to share first (I mean now it feels SO significant, you know?) leads to paralysis and the days keep rushing past. Posting for (my work away from work) is somehow easier, simpler. Why does doing for others feel clearer? I don’t know, but I do know IG will punish me for my absence and barely show this post to anyone. That’s okay. It is time to break the silence, start sharing this awesome back log of images, and beg the internet powers that be for forgiveness for my absence lol. Starting with some snaps from Marley’s senior session. This gorgeous girl. I photographed her and her beautiful sister in one coinciding shoot and will share sis soon too. Have I mentioned how much I love senior sessions? I still have some openings this summer if you’re wanting to get a shoot in! Give me a shout! And thanks for following along in my ramble if you’ve made it this far. 😂
