Last night’s full Strawberry Moon rising up over the local dairy. Taken 1 mile away from silos - 500mm lens and 1.4 teleconverter making an already big moon seem bigger.

So glad the clouds cooperated for this yesterday. It will never get old being under totality.

The full Buck Supermoon rising up through the Kewanna, IN fireworks. Glad the clouds cleared out in time.

This is NOT Photoshopped. Was taken from a mile back from the fireworks with a 500mm zoom lens. That is what makes the moon look large. Moon came up at 10:15pm on Monday night (July 3rd) and the fireworks started a few minutes before moonrise. It was incredible to watch the moon rise up through the half hour long display.

Tonight’s bright StarLink pass of 55 satellites launched 2 nights ago. They will continue to spread out farther apart until they reach their final orbit. Was about a half second exposure but this is about what it looks like to the eye, bright train for sure.
