These guys were the ultimate troopers!! The weather decided to turn into straight up hoa hoa hoa season (iykyk 😂). The fog was THICK, it was cold, and we still had such a blast! So grateful for families who are down to roll with whatever Washington decides to throw at us. 💕

Seriously though, it was SO pretty. Flowers everywhere, gorgeous little pathways, twinkle lights, and the sweetest family right in the middle of it all. And getting to photograph this crew while they’re waiting to meet their newest little one made it even better. 💕

I’m about to head back up to the mountain for another beautiful evening, but I have to share this sweet family from earlier this week. 💕

There’s just something about summer evenings at Mount Baker that never gets old. The mountains, the wildflowers, that gorgeous light, and getting to photograph families right in the middle of all of it. We wandered, explored, let the kids be kids, and somehow ended up with a whole gallery full of moments I love.

Petite Destination Sessions at Artist Point are officially open!

I’ve wanted to photograph up here in all those gorgeous early fall colors forever, so this year I’m making it happen. These are a little longer than my usual petite sessions so we have time to wander, play, soak in those ridiculous mountain views, and make some magic.

A little glimpse into the very glamorous real life behind Days Photography. 😂

Ever have one of those days that makes you want to cry AND have a stiff drink? Today was that day for me.

I started the day with a wonderful session this morning, while also rocking approximately half a roll of KT tape down the entire left side of my body because apparently overuse + getting older = everything hurts now. Add in the random hot flashes courtesy of perimenopause and I'm really thriving over here. 😂

Then I rushed home to get everything packed and ready to head up to Mount Baker for another session. Right as I was getting ready to leave, my clients called and said they needed to reschedule. They were absolutely wonderful about it, and honestly, no biggie! Things happen. 💕

So I finished helping Jon pack for the weekend and we finally headed out... only for me to make it approximately HALF A MILE from my house before realizing I had a flat tire. 😭😂

With 20 minutes until Les Schwab closed, we threw on the spare and hauled butt over there.

So if you've ever wondered what life looks like on the other side of the pretty photos... apparently it's KT tape, hot flashes, flat tires and chaos. 😂

I have officially had enough character development for one day. I'm ready for a drink and a nap. Now if only the mariners could win a game 😫

Excuse me, but who gave my nephew permission to become a SENIOR?! 😭😂 I swear it was approximately five minutes ago that he was a little guy playing Matchbox cars. Getting to take his senior photos was pretty dang special, and Iverson definitely showed off for us. 💕
