Hi there, I'm Kara, the face behind the lens!

I'm a wife, a mom of three busy boys, and a photographer passionate about capturing the moments that matter most.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, I specialize in senior portraits and sports photography, creating images that tell a story and last a lifetime.

My favorite part of what I do is helping people feel confident, celebrated, and truly seen. Whether I'm photographing a senior during one of the most exciting milestones of their life or an athlete giving everything they've got on the field, I want every session to feel fun, relaxed, and authentic.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me cheering on my boys at their sporting events, spending time with family, or dreaming up new ways to serve my clients and grow my business.

like a little fairy in the garden

Looking at photos of myself is challenging. I'm not happy with how my body looks, and it's hard not to focus on what I don't like. But I know for sure that 20 years from now, I'll look back with much kinder eyes and appreciate these pictures. I’ll be so glad I didn't let insecurity stop me. These photos will be precious not only to me but my children and children’s children.

These photos are not just for me; they’re for the people I care about who might get to see them in the future.
