As a photographer, there's always been something special about the intimacy and authenticity of courthouse weddings. So when the opportunity arose to capture the courthouse wedding of a childhood friend, I couldn't have been more excited.

I felt honored to be there to capture it all through my lens. Pearl and Edwin's courthouse wedding in NYC was just the beginning of their journey together. They have plans to celebrate their marriage with a wedding in the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany this coming July. And while their destination wedding will undoubtedly be a breathtaking affair, there's something undeniably special about the simplicity and intimacy of their courthouse ceremony.
