I’ll tell you what, there’s something about being atop a mountain, watching two people say their vows in front of God’s creation. It really brings things into perspective. Through all the hustle and bustle of life, things really are this simple….we often get lost chasing our dreams, raising babies and wanting more that we forget we are right where we need to be in this moment.

One of the reasons I love elopements so much is the simplicity + intimacy of it all. I mean, how cute is it that Cayla left a trail of photos up the mountain???! This was my first wedding of the season and although I may have almost died hiking up Peaked Mountain in knee-deep snow, it was more than worth it 🤍

Not your average couples session….& that’s the point.
I love coming up with different ideas and settings for my couples when they want a session whether it be fun + adventurous or sultry + intimate, like these. I want your photos to be uniquely you and something you can look back on in your 50s and say remember when…

While this may be a styled shoot, I’m very proud to say that I come up with my own sets and ideas for these, you also get the same creative mind when booking with me 🤍

& on the 3,000th day of winter (it had seemed) creativity struck and she was pulled out of the her melancholy winter hibernation…..no but on a real note, I needed this day, these sets, these people. This has no doubt been one of the longest winters we’ve had in a very long time and boy was my seasonal depression just waiting to crawl out of hiding. To say I needed a creative outlet was an understatement.
I’m just so glad to be surrounded by such amazing creatives and to have these opportunities to put these styled shoots together 🤍

Journeyed across a parking lot of straight ice for these two and I would do it again & again 🤍 When you decide to have your wedding on New Year’s Eve, a party is expected and this group did not disappoint!! This grooms party had me cackling all night (if you peek their entrance you’ll understand) and the bridal party was there at the drop of a dime for their bride. Grooms dad was also tearing up the dance floor, felt like I was in footloose 😂. Shara & Russell, I hope you relive this night forever! Wishing you all the years of happiness & love 🤍
