The trick to photographing kids is to embrace the movement instead of trying to control it. If you give them an opportunity to wiggle and move, you're going to get better smiles and kids that or more likely to work with you. So if you tell little boys that they can pretend to punch each other, but they have to give you their best smile first, you will not only get their best smile that mom will love, but a cute candid moment as well. I love working with this sweet family every year!
