Bill messaged me a few weeks ago when booking this surprise engagement session with full on schematics written on post it notes of how it was all going down. He included dozens of mock up photos of the big moment (shout out to his wonderful parents), a handful of different locations, back up times in case of weather. He wanted everything to be perfect! Do you know why rain on your wedding day is considered good luck?

According to Hindu traditions, rain on your wedding day is good luck because it signifies that your marriage will last. A knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel!

Still working on a few things before we are up and running and taking on clients.. i'm also so excited to share soon why i've added "design" to my name! Branden and Lindsey have been my husband and I's close friends for around seven years- I have watched the two of them get engaged, married, move away, and now start a family! I was beyond honored when they asked me to capture their beautiful growing family at their family lake cabin. Thank you to the Beer's for trusting me to capture your love for eachother!

What a special session this one was! While visiting my mom in Switzerland we took a weekend trip up to see the Matterhorn. My mom and her husband wanted to show me this teeny tiny street in Zermatt that they found the last time they visited and it did not disappoint with that Swiss charm and stunning views all around. Capturing these two was so playful and easy, I didn't want to put my camera down and miss a moment! Love you both! ❤
