I met this crew six years ago in St. Louis when I photographed their family and senior portraits of the oldest. This summer, we met up again in Northern Michigan for another family shoot and to document the youngest as he begins his senior year of high school!
Time really flies. I'm so fortunate to spend my time doing what I love while working with and getting to know such amazing people!

I love that Hannah wanted to incorporate her grandfather's vintage vehicles in her senior portrait session. It was so fun to work with the additional props and they made the photos that much more sentimental!

What meaningful items could you include in your senior portraits? They don't have to be as large as a car! I've photographed seniors with everything from a blanket made by a godmother, an heirloom necklace passed down from a grandmother, to a vintage Patagonia worn by a senior's mom in her high school years!

I know it’s still summer and we are sweating our way through these heat advisories but fall will be here before you know it!

Ever wonder how to capture the perfect natural portrait? Often, it's the in-between moments that can result in the most gorgeous photos!
You don't need to worry about being "picture perfect" all the time during your session. I promise, you're making magic with every pose, whether you realize it or not!
