SENIORS -- Take time to breath, relax and enjoy the moment before it flies by. Your senior year goes by oh so quickly. Schedule a portrait session to capture it! Pro tip: be sure to bring some lip balm to keep your lips moisturized during your session. Lips dry quickly, especially if there is a little wind. If you tend to have dry lips, start moisturizing them several days before your session so they are not flaky or cracked. Let the crunchy leaves provide the texture.🍁🍁🍁

ST. LOUIS, May 1, 2023 – ‘In Your City Hero Project’ team members from the IN YOUR CITY Show are launching a new, community-driven initiative to recognize and celebrate local, unsung heroes who are making positive impacts on other’s lives. The project’s goal is to encourage people to nominate individuals who have gone above-and-beyond to help others so their stories of these selfless acts can be showcased.

IN YOUR CITY SHOW is a production produced about people, places and things to explore, engage and enjoy. Your Hosts Kelley Lamm-Montgomery and Gordon Montgomery are the publishers of City Lifestyle Magazines Chesterfield, Clayton and St. Charles County and invite you to share your nominations.

“We want to give people the opportunity to recognize the everyday heroes in our cities who are making a difference in people's lives, but may not be getting the recognition they deserve,” said Kelley Lamm, organizer of the In Your City Hero Project. “We believe that by celebrating these unsung heroes, we can inspire others to follow their example and create a ripple effect of kindness and positivity in our communities.”

A selected hero will be chosen each month and featured on the project's website, social media channels, and local media outlets. The selected hero will receive a hero’s gift package, filled with items celebrating local communities.

Everyone can join this movement by nominating unsung heroes. Nominees can be submitted through the project's website or social media pages: InYourCityshow.com or Facebook.com/InYourCityShow.

She was determined to serve her God and country by fulfilling the unique duty thrust upon her. Despite the sacrifices it would require and the challenges she would have to face, she did not waiver, but held steadfast—determined to provide the stability her country needed through many tumultuous times, and see it through to the very end. Honoring her life, grateful for her example.
