As I delve further into the wedding season, I take delight in meeting people (and knowing their stories) not merely photographing them and counting the days.

Rose and Adrian had a beautiful story that resonated throughout their wedding day. Their best days are still ahead, but on this day, they had to take it all in.

As a witness, I am honored. And with the photos we created, I am satisfied.

Shot Isaiah and Stephany’s beautiful backyard wedding last weekend, and all we had were the feels. It was minimalist and intimate, surrounded by family and friends in the familiar place where the groom grew up.

I loved how his mom wore a traditional hanbok that day, prepared almost everything, and even baked the cake. Loved how everything came together.

Sharing a few more favorites from Mike and Melissa’s wedding. I truly care in working through the small details and incorporating the colors I get from every element of the wedding. From the rings to the flowers, and especially her bridal bouquet, which Melissa wanted to feel wild and overgrown, like a garden-inspired bouquet that felt intentionally undone. Almost as if she had just gathered it from a meadow.

For the last photo, I had them walk through a real garden of wildflowers, some sunburnt, some looking wild, which overall added to the organic vibe.

I couldn’t stop my eyes from adoring these, and I was so happy with what we got!

Mike and Melissa’s new chapter began with vows beneath a weeping willow, followed by a ceremony with their favorite people. They had comfort food, cocktails and plenty of memories dancing during their wedding reception. They made sure to get a matching tattoo because they had a free tattoo service on the day. They ended the night at a rooftop in the city. We never made it to the latter, but we’re pretty sure the atmosphere looked a lot like these photos. Every detail was filled with color and style, perfectly reflecting who they are. It was truly the time of their lives.

What a day to be a witness! 📸

Ale got made up upstairs and got ready in the bedroom. She walked down the steps and was greeted by her mom. They walked through the small hallway toward the back deck, where they got married with just a few family members.
