Last week after seeing the northern lights, I set up camp for the possibility to see them a second time. I had my camera set up on a tripod, my chair ready, and a blanket. I kept checking with my phone camera, but kept feeling like I was missing something. We eventually packed up thinking that we hadn’t seen anything. After editing some photos, i found some hints of color that had to have been the northern lights. What a sight.

Somewhere I have a an identical photo from 12 years ago. When I was dreaming about where my career would go. Especially at that time, there was nothing holding me back from my dreams, I knew I would get there someday. My dreams look a little different, I’m not sure where I want to go from here, but I know my camera will be by my side along the way.
