THE MCCLEODS!!! I’ve been waiting to post these because I’m truly sad this day over. It was long-awaited and flew by way too quickly. When I had my first call with Madeline & Matt I knew I adored them, but it was all very wedding-y and professional. Over the next few months, I’d quickly find that Madeline was as insane as I was and the biggest swiftie. We were at the same Taylor show in KC and our correspondence quickly turned from “hope this email finds you well to “ OMG SHE PLAYED LONG LIVEEEE” and “ITS A DOUBLE ALBUM”. It was only fitting that Taylor blessed us with a new album the day before the wedding.
But this story isn’t about me or about Taylor (even though everything sort of is). It’s about the privilege and honor of photographing this wedding. From their initial venue shutting down to mishaps on the wedding day, Madeline and Matt were locked in on each other. I’ve never seen anyone let go and have fun the way these two did. Their friends, their family, they are all so special and kind. Here’s a little tiny view into the magic of that day.
