These two traveled to St. Louis from Chicago for their anniversary session, and I absolutely loved getting the chance to photograph them.

They were such a sweet couple, and their entire session was effortless from start to finish. 🥹

She told me “backyard wedding,” so I’m thinking small and intimate...

I pull up and they have an ENTIRE VENUE setup. 😍

A gorgeous ceremony stage, guest hangout area, yard games, trampoline and activities for the kids, and thoughtful details everywhere. ✨

They truly thought of everything, and it was absolutely STUNNING. 🥹

So thankful I got to be part of their day and end my summer wedding season on such a beautiful note. 💕

Happy World Breastfeeding Week to the moms who somehow managed to keep a tiny human alive with nothing but sheer determination... and b***s that may or may not have been cooperating. 😅

I'll be honest - of everything I experienced in motherhood, breastfeeding was the hardest part. Pregnancy? Birth? Child's play compared to trying to feed a screaming newborn at 3 a.m. while questioning every ounce, every latch, every decision, and whether your body got the memo.

Breastfeeding is beautiful, but it's also messy, painful, emotional, exhausting, and incredibly isolating at times. That's why I have so much respect for every mom who fought through it. Whether you breastfed for one feeding, one week, one month, or several years - you showed up for your baby, and that's something worth celebrating. ✨

I'd love to hear your story. ❤️ How long did your breastfeeding journey last? What was the hardest part? Or what advice would you give a brand-new mom who's just beginning hers?

Let's celebrate the wins, be honest about the struggles, and remind each other that none of us were ever alone in it. 🫶🏽

Seeking a Community Partner 🫶🏽

I’m currently looking for a local organization to partner with for a special motherhood-focused photography project I’m putting together.

My goal is to create something that celebrates mothers, preserves the beauty of this season of life, and gives back to women and children in our community at the same time. (Lincoln or St.Charles County, Mo.)

I would love to connect with a local women’s shelter, family resource organization, or nonprofit that supports mothers and children and would be interested in collaborating.

If you know of an organization that would be a good fit, or if you have a contact I should reach out to, I would greatly appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
