Amid the hard judgments, I found a glimmer of hope: God promises to restore His people and to reveal His holiness through them, and that care feels so tender and real. Today's flashback: capturing the Leicht family in the magic of Shaw Park.

Between the ruins and overgrown gardens, every corner gave us layers of texture and light that turned simple moments into keepsakes. I love when families come back year after year—watching the tiny changes in each kid through my lens is the sweetest reminder that time is moving and memories matter.

Three-rific tea parties, tiny pinkies up, and the kind of family giggles that make your heart melt — my session with the Leicht family in August was pure joy. Between sun-washed portraits and candid tea-party chaos, I loved capturing the little moments that say "this is us" — the fun dancing, tiny giggles and big hugs.

Sessions like these remind me why I pick up my camera: to freeze the everyday magic so families can feel it again and again.
