We get requests for drone shoots weekly.
Drones changed our perspective with video, and as our pilots have trained with them over the years, we’ve evolved with the technology.
But having a drone and knowing when to use one are two very different things.
Our team has put a lot of hours into learning how to fly, how to frame a shot, how to move with intention and, maybe most importantly, when a drone shot actually adds something to the story.
Because the goal isn’t just to get the camera higher.
It’s to show scale and create movement. It's a different kind of establishing shot, giving a sense of place. It provides a perspective they couldn’t otherwise have.
For this recent shoot with Ingram Marine Group, that perspective was a big part of what they needed us to capture.
The technology keeps getting better, but I think the real value comes from the experience behind it — knowing how to use the tool intentionally instead of using it just because you can.
And yes, sometimes flying a camera through the sky is also just really cool!
