The 2021 PPA International Photographic Competition final results !! I'm so pleased to report that all four of my submissions received scores worthy of Merit - with two of them included In the distinguished "Imaging Excellence Collection" - the "best of the best". Many thanks to my incredibly patient and tolerant models who endured their photo shoots (yes, in all but one case, I had "do-overs" until I got it right!) - and to my amazing assistant Julie with her eagle eye attention to detail. My mentor, Francie, gave me excellent feedback to help me in perfecting each one of these. And even more exciting: I'll be able to claim my Master of Photography degree in January at the annual PPA Imaging convention held In Baltimore, MD. I've learned so much on this journey - taking a concept and bringing It to completion.

National Dog Day!. My heart goes out to sweet Harper and her mom today…. It’s been several months since Harper became a memory. I’m so very grateful that I had the chance to capture this beautiful image. One of my proudest moments as a photographer.
