I guess I could say how photography is my passion and how I grew up with a camera in my hand….how I knew I wanted to be a photographer…. Most kids, myself included, want to be a veterinarian or a doctor. But I did LOVE taking pictures. Then life happened. But I kept taking pictures. Photographing events, weddings and my kids. Then the digital age began. My s
kills grew and the spark to see the world through the lens lit on fire. It has been almost 15 years since then. Capturing a snapshot of people’s lives for them to treasure. I found that it was something I enjoyed and was good at. In 2013, we got a new pup, Millie…there were LOTS of pictures of the new pup. I realized I really liked taking pictures of dogs and she made it really easy. I started taking pictures of other dogs. I took some pet photography classes and my niche was created. These days my favorite things to photograph dogs, kids and families. And I am in pure heaven if I can put all three together. Millie is my heart dog, she gets me. I realized that there are lots of people like me that their dog is a big part of their life and they need to be included in the pictures that go on the wall.
