I make women cry, and I won't apologize for that.

No, I'm not an as***le, I just provide a powerful, transformative experience that completely changes how you see yourself.

There's a transformation that takes place over the entire period of your session with me: it begins with the waves of nervousness and uncertainty mixed with excitement that go back and forth before your photoshoot.

Then comes the confidence high you feel leaving my studio, followed by the giddy anticipation of waiting to see your photos.

Finally, the moment of truth when you see your images for the first time and realize that you are, and have been all along, stunning, powerful, and worthy of all your desires. And that realization very often comes with tears (but not from sadness).

So, yes, I make women cry, and I will never apologize for it.

The Self-Love Club book club is officially happening!

Between the Covers meets monthly on Wednesday evenings with wine, light bites, and captivating conversation. Some months we all read the same book, and other months everyone chooses their own and we discuss the month's theme while building each other's reading lists.

The theme for June is Reclamation, and our first read is "Girl on Girl" by Sophie Gilbert. If you grew up in the 80s, 90s, or early 2000s, this book is going to hit. We are reading it, talking about it, and getting into everything it brings up. (This discussion is going to get gooood.)

Our first meet-up is at the Boudie City studio in St. Louis on Wednesday, June 17th, at 6:30 PM.

Who doesn't love a good mood board?

This is a crucial part of the planning process for me, and I start putting this together immediately after our session planning consult while our conversation is still fresh in my mind.

Sometimes the plan changes throughout the process, but the mood board gives me a great starting point based on what kind of goals, vibe, and wardrobe you have in mind.

Our posing guidance goes beyond just positioning your body so that you look stunning without looking awkward. You'll be coached from your head to your toes, with each of our studio sets giving you multiple looks with a few simple shifts and changes in expression.

I’m feeling like a million bucks after my “headshot” session with .

One of the great things about being a bo***ir photographer is that basically anything goes when it’s my turn in front of the camera for my business.

This was just the boost I needed, and Abbie is such a gem for branding photos! We’re just a couple of photographers having fun together. 🤝
