A quick sneak peek of this lovely weekend wedding. On Friday, even though it was a bit rainy, Nacole and Zach had an amazing City Hall wedding. I’m one for symmetry, but this building and these two right in the middle of the stairs was stunning!

Being first in to the Botanical Gardens has its perks!

We had a lovely morning wondering around, finding multiple dead ends, and just appreciating the nature around us. I’m was thrilled Brad and Raquel selected the gardens for their engagement spot and can’t wait for their greenhouse wedding!

I quit my job today.

Starting today, March 1st, 2024, Nathan Hoefert Photography will be my employer. I hope my new boss is easy to work for!

All jokes aside, there have been countless nights and weekends questioning what I was doing and if it was right, but to say I did it on my own would be a miss. I am constantly trying to surround myself with loving people who also want to grow and understand the value of a community.

I've put a lot of work into myself over the past few years mentally and physically. Most recently being sober for the past ~10 months, which I think was a pivotal moment for me. I've started to steer my life in the direction I know it was meant to head.

All that said, I wouldn't have changed anything along the way. Each step has helped shape me to the person I've become today and who I'm proud to look at in the mirror.

These past few month, I’ve really leaned more in to headshots for clients. It’s like being fast friends with everyone that gets in front of my camera. Quick interactions but working together to get a handful of photos that make them feel confident!

One of my favorite things during a photoshoot is to slow down and take in everything around us. It’s a collaboration between a lovely couple and myself to find the beauty in our environment and connection between the two of them.

The Great Smoky Mountains gave us the perfect backdrop for Gracie and Levi’s wedding this past weekend.
