My grandma wanted one thing for Christmas - a photo with all of her grandkids and great-grandkids. So before one of the many parties, everyone stopped by the studio.

We recently received the framed picture and gave it to her. She said it was 'the best present ever.'

Check out little Isabelle, who recently came by the studio. It can be challenging to get newborn photos when the babies are awake - but not when they stare perfectly into the camera. What a doll.

A little old lady came by the studio earlier today, complete with wig, glasses and a cane. Despite her osteoporosis, she stood patiently for me while I grabbed a few photographs. 💜

The last few nights I've noticed this nice warm light coming through the front door right at sunset.

To me, the light was begging for a cowboy. Luckily we have all types of outfits on hand. Knowing we had minutes before the light was gone, we put Kai to work.

His pay? A big bowl of vanilla ice cream. Totally worth it.

This is Eli. I was able to photograph his sister a few years ago when she was a senior. For Eli, we started in the studio where, among other poses, we were able to photograph him among some of his artwork (he's an artist and a musician). We then headed to Emmaus Village of Marthasville where we had permission to shoot. There was a great little chapel there that worked out perfectly for this session, as Eli is likely going into the seminary after high school.

Kendall was digging around in the basement for snow clothes and came across this old fur hat that Ellie wore in her viral 'Frozen' photo from 2014. That picture has gotten millions of views and was purchased by a notable author for the cover of her novel.

We realized that Kai is within a month of being the same age Ellie was in that photo, so we obviously had to try and recreate it on what's a very similar, snowy day to the original one in 2014.

Ellie has Kai beat in the eye department, but he's giving her a run for her money in terms of overall cuteness. Now I wish I had a time machine and could take Cain all the way back to 2012 to finish out the trifecta.
