I haven't posted any sessions in a while. Sorry, I've been M.I.A But I wanted to post something. Yesterday morning I took my own kids to a park and took photo's since I honestly haven't been photographing them in a long time. So long that the three of them were last in a photo was when my youngest was born! he is now TWO.

So here's why photographers also need to hire other photographers for family photo's. All my family and friends always say, "You're a photographer you can do your own photos." I always say, "NO." and this is why. First its impossible to have the whole family together. Who's going to take the photo if me and my husband are in it? Second, how can we tell if everyone is looking at the camera. Its never going to happen the way you want it. Either way, I really just wanted my kids together for some photos. Here is reason number TWO. Sorry, but kids will always act their worst for their parents. At least mine do. When you have someone NEW or someone they only see a couple times a year, they are more likely to be on better behavior and listen or at least better than what they do for you. So, here are a few photo's of my day with them. Keep in mind I probably got a "couple" good shots out of 400 shots and was able to get them done in 30 minutes because all they want to do is be done. I'll give a brief description for each photo so you can see how this all came along.

I should also mention, this is also the reason as a consumer you do not need every image from a session. Out of 400 shots I have a handful that I like and even less that I will print and display in my home. Keep that in mind when getting photos. It’s not quantity but quality.
