As the busiest season is coming to a close, I look at all the photos I've taken and the families I've made happy with my art. It's been a great reminder of why I do what I do. I love to tell stories, give people something to hold on to and cherish for years to come. Since things are finally slowing down, I'll be posting a lot more of these galleries that have been some of my absolute favorites this year❤️

This little family was so adorable and SO sweet💙 Their first born, and mom and dad of course want to document it. Who wouldn't? I've never been requested to take a "band photo"(second photo) as their little tradition so of course I'm gonna share it! So unique and I definitely got a good laugh out of it! They 100% nailed it👏

When I tell you guys I love fall, I'm telling you, I LOVE fall. I've always been the spooky, fall kind of girl so when I heard that there's all four seasons in I was so excited! The colors are beautiful, the sunlight hits just right especially through the trees🍁🍂 This will be my very first experience in fall foliage too! I am booked up through all of October but I have a few slots left in November to get those beautiful photos to have in your home!

✨Meet the photographer!!✨

I’m Sumi, a mom of two kiddos, a wife to a loving husband, and a HUGE Disney nerd✨🏰✨

While I’m originally from the island of Mr. Miyagi🥋, I grew up in the military life from the day I was born and traveled around the US, mostly west coast living. Turns out I loved it so much I married into that lifestyle too and became a mil spouse. So yes, I am about that life😂

It’s interesting how I’ve had this account for years and only now introducing myself but there’s a reason why. Simple as I’ve never been comfortable in front of the camera and still not as much as I want to be to this day(working on it!). But I found joy in being behind the camera and making others feel beautiful and happy from reminiscing over the memories.

I believed that everyone deserves to have beautiful photos to freeze that moment in time. So that’s what I do! My style is mostly bright and warm, but I’ll have those occasional artistic sessions when I feel like showing my creative side😊 But in all types of sessions that I do, I only have one rule: if it doesn’t make you feel something, I didn’t do my job.

Hopefully now you can see the type of person I am a bit behind the lens and pictures😊 I hope you give me the opportunity to give you those beautiful pictures for you to cherish for years to come❤️

Lots and lots of life updates!! We have relocated to St. Louis, MO, and we added a new addition to the family. So, I took a very long break that I felt that my old brand didn’t represent my current work anymore and I rebranded! With another baby girl in the family, I decided to change the name of my brand to the two first characters of both my girl’s middle names and made it into Airi Photography. This is the start of a new journey, new content, and maybe a new refreshing style that’s more matured. I’ll still be keeping true to my philosophy of everyone deserves beautiful photos that pull in your head strings😊 So stay tuned!
