I often take time out to reflect on past sessions because it helps me put fresh eyes on each photograph. It helps give me the ability to grow. I see the areas that I can improve in, what worked out or what didn't as much. And as an added bonus it gives me the chance to reminsce each session and how incredible that it is that I get to spend time with some of the most amazing people. I get to celebrate each person and see how amazing they are, share laughs with them, maybe even shed some tears together, hear their stories and truly be in the moment with them. I hold each session so closely to my heart and that's because whenever I am behind my camera I am living a dream. Each session is like another chapter of my favorite book. I get to go back and relive it as much as I want.

Like thinking back on this beautiful Momma's session and just how fun it was. And also realizing now that sweet Baby Beckett is 5 months old! It's almost hard to believe!

If you are thinking about booking a session, whether if it's with me or your local photographer, DO IT! Add to your chapter of memories that you can look back on at any moment. I guarantee you won't regret it!

What does your Christmas evening look like? Mine consists of snuggling up on the couch, watching Candy Cane Lane with my youngest, and editing a client photoshoot that I had the pleasure of doing yesterday. I hope your day has been quite a great one! Merry Christmas everyone. 🎄
