I've decided to make self portraits a recurring thing before breast cancer awareness month in October. As you probably already know if you've been here awhile, I really put a lot of effort into intentional shoots like this, and deciding what I want to portray each year. Every year of survivorship is vastly different, as I'm learning, and as time moves on, life, healing, grief, hope, loss...things shift.

This particular season of life is really heavy and hard. I feel alone, and I don’t always feel amazing. Emotional growth isn't easy. I can let my brain and body process on its own time. I don’t have to fix it, as long as I look forward. 🖤

Absolutely LOVED this senior session. Wow, wow, wow! I feel so lucky I got to do this and had the best time with this guy and his family! Except that I didn't bring the connector to my tripod and spent way too long trying to get the camera attached...hahaha!

Reminder: If you're booking any session from now until the end of the year, your space is not guaranteed until you've paid the deposit down!

I've had several people reach back out to me way later, but we are getting into that time where I barely have ANY space left for any session at all...reach out if you want any session before the end of 2026! It makes me so sad to turn people away, but I'm just one of me and can only handle so much!

I do have a couple of Creek Mini sessions in September, and just a couple of morning Fall Minis...then maybe 1-2 spots left for a full session or senior session, a few newborn/milestone slots, then I am totally booked for the rest of the year!

I will post links to book those two in the comments.
