Let your kids be kids. When shooting with families, don’t stress over getting the perfect image. Although we will definitely set up for the posed smiling picture, not all moments during the shoot will feel controlled; that’s 100 percent normal. Follow their lead. Play with them. Tickle, play tag, hang them upside until the giggle.. 9/10 times these little moments instantly become my favorite images. The real moments. The real personalities. So don’t stress. Take a deep breath and just play. I promise you will never regret booking pictures.

What questions do you have about senior sessions?! I’d say I take about half of my seniors book in the fall, and the other half shortly before graduation in the spring. Either are totally great, it honestly just depends on the vibes they are wanting. ;) Green/ fall leaves vs maybe a blossom orchard or park in the spring as things begin to bloom again.
I loved my time with this beautiful girl a couple weeks ago! Got it done riiiight before things started to change and it was beyond perfect! ❤️

Not my normal post, but I still wanted to share! I was lucky enough to go to my *favorite* place this summer. There’s honestly nothing like it! I’d go back in a heartbeat, but for now I guess I’ll just have to cover my walls with all of my images to pretend I’m still there. The end. ;)

I have WAY too many sessions to catch up on.. but I’m starting with this beautiful night! Obsessed with this spot and thinking of offering it for a mini session date.. anyone interested?!
