👉To Purchase Fine Art Photography Prints or Sign up for Newsletter to Learn Pro Tips Visit the Website Link I started learning photography in high school over 40 years ago! I got my first Canon film camera and set up my own darkroom in our basement. I concentrated mainly on black and white photography those days. I got my first digital camera in 2005 and have practiced almost daily since. I love photographing all aspects of nature - wildlife, plants, landscapes, insects, etc...

I love seeing and taking pictures of the wonders of what our world has to offer - Beautiful landscapes, wildlife in action, close ups of flowers and butterflies, and more. Now that I am retired, I will be sharing my photography experiences as I visit new places, learn to see old places in a new light, learn and practice new photography and post-processing skills, and apply techniques I have learned over the years as an amateur photographer. Captured a pair of Bald Eagles that appeared to be starting to build a nest at Leesylvania State Park! When I first saw them one of the eagles, the lowest one in this photo, was in the process of moving the sticks in the crook of this tree. They both flew off a few minutes later. I hope they continue to build a nest in this area!
