There should be a place where you pay your cover, grab a beverage from the bar, and find a place up front just as THE KURSK rolls into Starsetter. After they finish, pay your tab and head home. That would be a perfect night of music.

Saturday night I worried that Starsetter live wouldn't be as good as I remembered. It wasn't.....it was much, much better.

I did not know the Discrepancies. I had not seen them before. And had not knowingly heard any of their music. Sometimes it's fun just going in not knowing how someone sounds.

I find myself front and center as they began and I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was not that. And I loved it. Amazing performance.

So now I'm on a quest to see that again!

So when I asked Sophi if she wanted to go to the Band-O-Lympics @ The Riff, of course she said yes. She was really excited about seeing ALBORN. She's been a fan for awhile and obviously has great taste in music.

ALBORN did not disappoint.
