Yesterday was a day I’ll never forget. 🤍

I had the absolute honor of photographing my first full-day wedding completely on my own, and I truly don’t think I could have asked for a more beautiful couple or a more meaningful day to step into this new chapter of my photography journey.

Mason & Adriana, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to capture your wedding day.Thank you for allowing me into such an important and intimate part of your story and trusting me with all of the little moments, big emotions, happy tears, laughs, and memories that made your day uniquely yours. It was such an honor to watch your love unfold throughout the day and to preserve those memories for you to look back on for years to come. Congratulations, you two! 🥂🤍 I hope these photos always take you right back to how you felt in these moments.

This day was also a HUGE milestone for me personally. Over the last year, I’ve been stepping outside of my comfort zone, learning, second shooting, shadowing other photographers, soaking up every bit of knowledge I could, and slowly building the confidence to take on weddings of my own. To finally have a full wedding day where I was the one behind the camera from beginning to end is something I’m incredibly proud of. 🥹📸

And I absolutely could not let this post go without giving a HUGE thank you to Braylee with Viva Vision Photography LLC for tagging along with me🤍 Thank you for helping throughout the day, jumping in wherever you were needed, and most importantly, for bringing your own creative eye to the day. Having another photographer there to bounce ideas off of, catch different perspectives, and help make sure we didn’t miss a thing meant more than you know. I’m so grateful for you and your willingness to help me through such a big milestone!

I’ve spent so much time watching, learning, practicing, and dreaming about getting to this point and yesterday, it all felt a little more real.

🖤 A LITTLE MODEL CALL PSA 🖤

First, I just want to say THANK YOU! Seriously. 🥹

Some of my recent model calls have gotten 100+ comments and TONS of messages. I am so incredibly grateful that so many of you want to create with me and trust me enough to put yourselves out there. 🖤

I also want everyone to know that if you aren’t chosen for a model call, please don’t take it personally. I would never want anyone to feel like I chose someone because they are “prettier,” “better,” or more deserving. That is absolutely not how I look at it.

When I choose models, I’m looking at the overall vision for the session. Sometimes I’m looking for a certain look, personality, vibe, or aesthetic that I think will fit the concept. I also try really hard to switch up my models and give different people opportunities instead of choosing the same faces every time.

Sometimes I may choose someone because I think their personality would absolutely kill a certain concept. Other times, I may be looking for a completely different vibe than the last session.

And honestly… sometimes there are SO many amazing choices that choosing is incredibly difficult. 😭

Please know that not being picked does NOT mean I don't love your look or think you'd be amazing to work with. It simply means you may not have been the right fit for that particular concept at that particular time.

I want to keep creating fun, unique, sometimes wild, sexy, weird, spooky, and creative sessions — and I want as many different people as possible to have the opportunity to be part of them. 🖤

So PLEASE keep entering my model calls, even if you’ve applied before and weren’t chosen. Your next one might be the perfect fit. 🥰
