Tonight was full of the sweetest candid moments, playing around, and just letting these two be themselves in front of my camera. These are the sessions I love most — the ones that feel less like posing for photos and more like capturing a little piece of someone’s love story.

🫶🏼 A little PSA for my clients as we head into cold & flu season…

If you or someone in your family is sick before your session, please reach out to me and let’s reschedule.❤️

I promise I will NEVER be upset, annoyed, or frustrated with you for needing to reschedule because someone is sick. Life happens, kids get sick, and I completely understand. I will always do my best to be as accommodating as possible and find another date that works for us.

I just ask that you please extend that same consideration to my family. 🥺

For those who have been following along for a while, you may remember my sweet boy Skylar. He was born at just 24 weeks and has had a pretty long road since then. Because of his prematurity, he is severely immunocompromised and lives with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), a chronic lung disease, as well as severe asthma. His little lungs are incredibly fragile, and something that may be a simple cold for someone else can be much more serious for him.

I absolutely LOVE getting to photograph your families and being a part of your special moments. ❤️ I just want to be able to continue doing that while also keeping my own little guy safe.

So please, if you're feeling sick — even if it's “just a little cold” — send me a message. No guilt, no frustration, no judgment. We will reschedule. 🫶🏼

Thank you for understanding, for caring about my family, and for helping me protect my sweet boy. It truly means more than you know. 🤎
