I went to Cades Cove in Tennessee today, what a great place ! The landscape was amazing, the trees are just starting to change color. I saw some horses, deer and wild turkey's.

The leaves are changing down in Gatlingburg, TN, I'm taking a much needed vacation. It's so beautiful down here !!

The Moon and Jupiter, The constellation Orion, and the Pleiades.
Back when I was a much younger lad I borrowed my science teachers telescope. It was a refractor telescope that he made himself. I would spend hours in the cold looking through it, gazing at stars, galaxies, and nebula. ( Thanks Mr. King )
It really opened my eyes and mind of the galaxy, and what could be seen. We are all on this small rock going through the universe.

These are from the past week and are from the Springfield,Ohio area. Finally starting to dial things down, as some are done with auto and manual focus modes. There is always something to learn every day, getting the right lighting, sun flares, etc. It's a joy when it all comes together.

Yesterday I went and took a stroll at John Bryan State Park, it was beautiful. Birds were singing in the trees, flowers blooming, and the leaves are slowly starting to change.

These are from the 4th of September. After work I decided to try and get away from the lake and get some landscape shots. I drove all over eastern clark county trying to find some interesting places. I liked how the mist was staying in valley.

Alas the last 2 were at the lake, a couple of days later.
