✨ MABEL ✨

Part one because there’s no way I could condense this gal into one post. I’ve known this sunshine angel since she was just a little duckling. She would make rain jackets out of garbage bags and ice packs using gloves so we wouldn’t die of heat while working at the food truck. We played so much pretend (especially airport) and it was evident even since she was little that she was going to grow up to be such a creative force! This is a session I can’t believe I got to be a part of 🥹🥲. Mabel is pink and blue and cotton candy and flowers and butterflies and whimsy and joy in the form of a person! I’m big emo posting these. LOVE YA, MABEL!

Not my usual seniors and grads, but every now and again I need something different to keep the creative muscle strong. Bear with me, dolls. 💛

This session formed in my mind over a year ago after taking a headshot for Isabella Lee when she worked at a restaurant that shall not be named (me, bitter? Barely!) She was wearing a red top and I thought to myself “That is HER color.” I knew we’d need the talents of 𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕒𝕙 // 𝕞𝕦𝕒 for this shoot, and thus the collaboration began. The concept morphed into this amazing final product. If you remember the principles and elements of art from school, the big focus was color (monochromatic and complimentary) movement, and shape. Sometimes you need to go back to the basics to keep your eye sharp!

Bella, you’re such a gem, thank you so much for modeling. Hannah, you’re an angel. Thank you for painting this gorgeous look! My creative cup is full!

Mara’s whimsy filled outdoor senior photos have me double taking making me think she popped right out of a novel (or Treasure Planet with the white blouse fit?!👀) The greenery, the reading, the subtle golden hour light…. YAAAAS.
She requested the perfect location to make her soft, mushroom fairy dreams come true. Thank you Garden Wedding Venues for letting us use your stunning property!

Writing an about me post always feels daunting, so this time I put the pressure on a few of my friends. 😂 Themes you may have picked up on: humor, unhinged, supportive (in the way you want or not 👀.)

To the new and old faces, HEY, HI, HELLO! I’m just so happy to see ya.

Being a photographer is such a weird career because I am a person but also a big part of the thing I am selling. I don’t know about you, but I will read 8739 reviews before making the decision to buy something, and if their review mentions how long they’ve had/used the product, it raises the reliability rating for me. Since my clients only get to see me for a few hours max (even though we have been talking on Instagram for weeks prior) I figured I’d let those who know me best tell you about me.

You aren’t just buying pretty pictures, you’re signing up for an experience, unhinged as it may be. You’re getting a new person in your corner, someone who will happily read over your resume and give you pointers, and someone who genuinely wants to see you live your best life!

As your photographer, I will be slipping and tripping and walking backwards into things to keep you on your toes… but I will NOT be pressuring you to look or act any sort of way. The time we spend together is meant to celebrate your accomplishments, not that you wore the exact perfect outfit or that your hair was sitting perfectly. Stress-free is the only way for me.
