Some of our favorite scenes from Silas and Alyssa’s wedding day

These two ditched the trend of the over the top wedding. Everything was simple and slow. Silas’ dad led a perfect ceremony focused on love, growth, and their faith. Not a single person in the crowd had a dry eye. It was quite literally filled with people who loved them.

Everything about their day was highlighting their union. These two are proof that sometimes all you need is love, some coffee, and a little bit of Taylor Swift to find your forever person.

As a Virgo, being a perfectionist likes to rear its ugly head at me sometimes. I spent the early years of my career nitpicking my lighting choices, my poses, all of it.

CJ is the exact opposite. He’s never studied anything. He just goes where the moment is unfolding and somehow gets the best shots all of the time.

Somewhere along the way in the mix of things, we both kinda rubbed off on each other. Now he knows what composition and lighting are, but I’m finally following the moments as they unfold.

Our couples don’t choose us because of our perfectly curated portfolio, but more because of how real the emotions are. You can look hella cool on your wedding day and not feel like you’re being harassed by the lady with the camera. That’s what we do 🌜
