It’s always fun to look at how different each brand shoot is. Whether it be a fun, personality driven shoot, or a more serious, moodier vibe, or just capturing you and your team (if you have one) doing your work in a more in-action way along with some headshots and teams photos.

Brand shoots aren't a “one size fits all” situation. It is completely custom to you, your team, your business, your industry, and what exactly you are wanting to achieve with your shoot.

A few photos from Jennifer Kornblum’s session! Jennifer is an estate planning attorney in SW MO.

When Jennifer reached out to me, she mentioned she wanted fun photos that showed her personality. Not stiff typical photos that you may imagine an attorney having. I get a ton of clients who say the same thing no matter what industry they’re in.

This is so smart. Having unique photos that feel good and authentic to you is going to make you stand out and attract more people to you. Especially in industries where everyone’s branding tends to look the same, showing personality immediately makes you more memorable.

A post from a recent networking event I did headshots for!

If you are hosting a networking event, corporate event, or just need headshots for your business, I can come to you and set up the backdrop, lighting, and all the necessary equipment so you don't have to worry about any of it 😀

If its an event where you may not have the contact info of everyone attending, I can also collect each person's information who gets their headshot taken and send the photo directly to them so you don't have to worry about that part either.

People have been LOVING the Micro Brand Stories sessions lately and it’s quickly becoming one of my most popular sessions that people are booking recently!

Here is a great example of a Micro Brand Story of Cassandra Minnick who owns Seen Therapy Services. She booked them Empowered Collection which includes 70 photos along with your choice of a long-form Brand Story Video or Micro Brand Stories. She opted for the long-form video AND added on the Micro Brand Stories as well so she can have a long-form video for her website plus the Micro Brand Story videos for social media as well as certain pages on her website.

With a Micro Brand Stories session, we sit down and film a range of short clips designed specifically for social media, your website, and anywhere you show up online. These are short, punchy, vertical, done-for-you talking to camera clips (15–45 seconds) of you and/or your team that you can easily post.

They are filmed with a professional camera, audio equipment, lighting, etc.

You get 15-20 of these clips with your session. I also come with talking prompts that are relevant to your industry in case you need a little guidance!

I know talking to the camera is not in most business owners comfort zones. Some clients may be able to knock it out in an hour and some may need a few hours and that’s ok. I always want to create a comfortable and patient environment for all my sessions.

If you have a product-based business that you are wanting to take to the next level and have people take seriously, you NEED professional photos of your product to stand out.

Here are the 2 types of photos/videos you need: 👇

1. Product-only photos. These are typically blank backdrop photos that show details, texture, packaging, color, and size. It answers the question of “What exactly am I buying?”

2. Lifestyle photos/videos. This is your products being used with models or just being used in the “real world.” It builds desire and helps the potential buyer visualize them using it/wearing it/etc. It answers the question of “Is this product for me?”

It’s time!

Several weeks ago, one of our incredible adopters and friends drove 4 hours each way, just to help us film something that has been on our hearts for a long time.

Educational videos.

Today, they’re finally ready.

We now have nearly a dozen short, practical clips plus a full-length rabbit care guide that we’ll be sharing both here and on our website. This is the kind of resource we wish every bunny owner had access to from day 1.

Our very first video is: “Trimming Your Rabbit’s Nails - With 2 People” because education like this isn’t just helpful, it’s lifesaving.

Most of the time, bunnies are neglected due to miseducation, not maliciousness.

This project represents so much more than a video series. It represents a community that cares enough to do better. To learn. To teach. To raise the standard of rabbit care everywhere.

We are small, but we are serious about changing outcomes.

We hope these videos help bunny owners not just locally, but all over the world.

A few sneak peeks from yesterday's shoot for

I loooovveee how these photos turned out. Our shoot was about 6.5 hours at . We had different moodboards for different concepts. We focused more on lifestyle and creative photos more so than just highlighting closeup stock photos of the jewelry.

2 of the models got their makeup done by and she did an amazing job!

Let’s talk about headshots VS. brand photos.

People will say they need new headshots, but sometimes they actually mean they need a brand session with a variety of photos. Not just one or two new headshots.

These photos are some examples of a headshot VS. the brand photos from their session.

A headshot is a closer up photo of the person looking at the camera. It can be sitting or standing and professional looking. These are usually used on business cards, business profile photos, on websites in the “About” section, etc.

Brand photos are all the other photos that you see all over social media, websites, marketing materials, etc. It can be a mixture of looking at the camera and looking away shots, creative shots, photos with props, photos showing personality, photos with clients, etc.

It’s crucial to have a good headshot, but it is also crucial nowadays to have the brand photos to go with it. You'll stand out from the crowd, seem more professional and approachable, and you’ll have content to use for your socials, website, and more.
