August ✨

I got to see one of my favorite couples this month. I’ve been taking their pictures since they first started dating, was in the room documenting when their first daughter was born, and have loved getting to watch their little family grow through the years.

They recently moved out of state, but somehow managed to squeeze in a session the morning after a wedding before making the hours-long drive back home. And this time, they brought little sister #2 for me to meet. 🥹

There’s something so special about getting to document the same families through so many different seasons of life. I feel incredibly lucky to be trusted, year after year, with your memories. 🤍

A month full of celebrating another trip around the sun. Here are a few favorites from last month’s birthday sessions. 🎂

Hi. 👋 It’s been a little quiet around here so I thought I would pop on and give a little update ✨

If you didn’t know, outside of being a photographer I’m also a florist at True Colors Floral. And in March I ended up stepping into the shop manager role. It’s been a big, really exciting shift but I’m still finding my rhythm with it all.

Because of that, I haven’t been posting much here (or at all), and I also made the decision to let go of my personal studio space.

Don’t worry though, I’ve still been shooting behind the scenes this whole time and at this point I have no plans to stop! (I can still even take studio sessions!)

My availability will just be more limited, especially during the fall when I’ll be knee deep in wedding season.

Photography has always been my first baby, so even though things may look a little different, I’m still very much in it.

And since I’ve been behind on posting lately… here are some sessions from March through now that didn’t make it to the feed ✨

I’m still playing catch-up with fall sessions and this extended family shoot at Washington Park is too good not to share. The colors were unreal and this group made it even better. Definitely one of those “this is why I love fall sessions” kind of days!
