🍂 Fall Magic, Studio Style! 🤎

Christmas may be in the studio, but let’s not forget to enjoy the season we’re in!

We know fall photos typically mean outdoor sessions, golden sunsets, and crisp autumn air… but let’s be real, this is Houston, and we’re still living in 80–90 degree weather!

The good news? Fall can happen indoors, too!

And for our expecting mamas, a comfortable, air-conditioned studio session might just be the perfect choice.

From our versatile seamless paper backdrops to our beautiful chandelier space and cozy bed area, there are so many ways to create timeless maternity portraits without ever stepping into the heat!

We love seeing photographers get creative with our studio spaces, and these gorgeous maternity portraits are the perfect reminder that you don’t need an outdoor setting to capture the beauty of this season.

LET’S TALK LIGHTING! 📸

New to using our Einstein light? We’ve got you covered!

Whether you’re a first-time renter or just need a little refresher, here’s a quick step-by-step guide to getting your lighting ready for your session!

HOW TO USE OUR EINSTEIN LIGHT:

1️⃣ Grab your trigger: Carefully remove the trigger from its Velcro holder on the light stand.

2️⃣ Attach it to your camera: Slide the trigger onto your camera’s hot shoe and tighten it until secure. Be careful not to overtighten.

3️⃣ Power it on: Locate the power button on the trigger and turn it on.

4️⃣ Check your channel: Make sure the channel displayed on your trigger matches the channel on the Einstein light.

5️⃣ Test it out: Give it a quick test to make sure everything is communicating properly.

6️⃣ You’re ready: Turn on your camera and start capturing those beautiful moments!

🤍 WHEN YOU’RE FINISHED:

Please loosen the trigger, gently slide it off your camera’s hot shoe, and return it to its Velcro holder on the light stand so it’s ready for the next photographer.

To help keep our space clean, beautiful, and ready for everyone, we want to remind you that cake smash boards are REQUIRED for all cake smash sessions.

Our sweet member Laura Pulliam • Spring TX Brand Photographer is showing just how quick and easy it is to grab a board, set up your session, and return it when you’re finished!

A few friendly reminders:

🤍 Always use a cake smash board during your session

🤍 Clean your board thoroughly after use! Cleaning supplies are available in the bathroom

🤍 Return the clean board to its designated storage spot when you’re finished

These simple steps help protect our seamless paper, preserve our studio space, and ensure the next photographer walks into a clean, welcoming environment.

We’re Amanda + Brent — husband and wife, parents, creative partners, and the people behind Craft the Moment Party Co.

What started with a love for creating special moments for our own family grew into a business built around helping YOU celebrate yours.
