I think that in 50 years when most of us will be going or gone ...
This time, say from year 2000 to 2025, this 25 years will have become the most interesting and studied period in the History of Photography.
In this 25 years, we have gone from Film to Digital, DSLR to Mirrorless, Video over Film, Social Media as an end-use over Books and Prints, and AI machinery beginning to replace the Human Photographer.

This has been, and is, a most interesting time to be involved in the Art of Photography.

What mark will you leave now, for the future to discuss?
Who, in the future, will discover you?
From now on, anything we present to the world is Post Transition.

I view the art of Photography as a collaboration, eventually, between the Photographer and the Audience.
Explaining to, or Interpreting for, the Viewer what he should see or experience is, therefore, Arrogant and Exclusionary.
Stage setting when the Viewer brings his own stage to the show.

I apply this view to all narratives, titles, explanations, poetry, or other insights, applied to a photograph to steer the viewer in any direction not of the viewer's own making.
Disrespectful to both the Viewer and the Art.

Is a picture worth a thousand words, or Not?
If it be so, let us not try to tell two stories at once.
The second story can only subtract attention from the first.
