The last time I posted here was June 2021… a photo of my daughter just moments after she was born. She was our big surprise and I’ve spent the last few years loving on my family, figuring out life with teens and a four-year-old (send coffee), and leaning deep into my birth work.

I haven’t stopped shooting… just stopped posting. Social media felt like one more thing to juggle and it kept getting bumped to the bottom of the list. But I’ve been sitting on some really beautiful galleries and I’m finally ready to start sharing again.

So here we go… starting with this one. Because nothing says “I’m back” like a freshly born baby reminding me exactly why I do what I do.

Nothing like beautiful evenings with a gorgeous, powerful momma! And come ONNNN with this dress?! It worked so perfectly with our amazing backdrop. I just love the natural beauty that I am fortunate enough to live amongst.

Creating new life. Is there anything more beautiful? This couple were so in tune with eachother and so in love. It was an honor to capture a small part of their story.

Its official...we are smack dab in the middle of busy season! I'm just coming off of 2 weeks straight of shooting and I am LOVING it! When Covid first hit, and everything shut down it scared me. Scared me to my core for so many reasons, one of them was my business. I didn't know if we would recover, if I would be able to continue capturing these love stories that I adore. I can't thank you all enough for you unwavering support of not only my small business, but of your trust in me, to allow me to do what I love.

This family here was just...perfect. On vacation and having fun, the littlest, Mr.S wanted NOTHING to do with me 😅 He was a little firecracker and wanted nothing more than to play in the sand and feel the waves. I can't tell you the joy you could feel radiating off this little one as soon as he stepped foot in the Gulf. All of the upset, all of the running away just faded and he was truly, unbiasedly happy. I am so lucky I get to witness these amazing moments.

An amazing thing happens when you leave the roads and take the trails. You enter a new space in your mind, and in your body and you begin to connect back to nature. Take off your shoes and ground yourself in the earth. Feel the sun on your skin and smell the breeze. Lay in the flowers and lose yourself, just for a moment. I can’t tell you how incredibly healing it is.

These two quite literally KILLED it! We battled the heat, dry ice, and sun chasing but we made it happen. The first spooky session of the season is in the books, and let me tell you...it breathed the life back into me. I had so much fun creating this concept and bringing it to life with these two perfect humans.
