Hey y'all! It's been a while, I know. Grief is a tricky thing. Anyway, I have a few announcements. I am (still) officially done with photographing newborns. I am actively trying to sell my props now. However, I am transitioning into youth portraits. With my kids growing older, I find myself enjoying photographing sports, seniors, and school aged kids the most. So, keep an eye out for the official relaunch! It's coming very soon.

You know the saying when it rains, it pours? This applies to me at the moment. Two out of three of my kids have COVID. One had to be rushed to the hospital for it. He’s okay now, but it was scary. Apparently, it’s going around again. I pray everyone stays healthy.

*ANNOUNCEMENT* This is a hard one, but necessary. With my father's illness and my role as his caretaker, I have made the decision to take a step back from photography. I am not taking any additional clients this year, but will be working with those already booked. Anyone with a complimentary session will still receive those as well. Additionally, I am moving my studio to my home in mid August. It just makes sense to simplify things as much as possible right now. I don't live far from my current studio, but will refund anyone who prefers not to travel to my home for their session. After this year, I will be phasing out of the photography business. I have wrestled with this so many times, but it just makes sense for my family right now.

Hey y’all! I know it’s quiet here, but a lot has been going on. As I stated previously, my father is very sick. He’s been in the hospital now since May 12th. Unfortunately, he’s still fighting heart failure, as well as kidney, liver, and lung issues. They have him stable and are trying to get him home soon. But his dementia has progressed. Im still working behind the scenes, shooting and editing. Im a few days behind currently, but hoping to catch up soon. Thanks for your patience and prayers.

Hi everyone! I wanted to update y’all about a circumstance my family is currently dealing with. My father has been ill for a few weeks now and has spent multiple days in and out of the hospital. He was readmitted last night and is being moved to ICU now. I’m a little behind with galleries due to spending a great deal of time with his doctors. He has dementia, so his medical team relies on me for information. Please be patient while I navigate all of this.
