A short clip from my interview with Amanda Taylor, aka "The Selfie Killer." Amanda made headlines in 2015 when she stabbed her father-in-law to death and then posted a photo of herself with the victim's body to her Myspace (photo featured below). During questioning, she told authorities that she was glad she did it. At one point during her interrogation she evan said, "I guess I was proud of what I had done,I was excited that I had finally done it." Her case has been the subject of several documentaries on YouTube and was even featured on a TV show known as "Web of Lies. " I was able to talk to her through a prison video calling system. We talked about various things such as her upbringing , what life was like before prison , what life is like in prison. And the gruseome details of her case. she was very open with me and although I may not support some of her acrions she is still a person and I conversate with her through email often. Pennhurst Asylum is by far the BEST HAUNTED ATTRACTION I personally have ever been to !! 4 ATTRACTIONS !! A DJ !! MULTIPLE PERFORMERS !! FOOD !! BEER !! and so much more packed into a old insane asylum with a dark history rumored to be haunted by it's former residents !! seriously this is one for the bucket list !!

Pennhurst Asylum, originally the Eastern Pennsylvania Institution for the Feeble Minded and Epileptic, opened in 1908 and operated until 1987. It gained notoriety for inhumane conditions and was the subject of the 1968 NBC exposé "Suffer the Little Children," which publicized severe neglect and mistreatment of residents with disabilities. The institution's history is significant to the disability rights movement, and it was eventually closed, with its residents moved into community-based group homes. It now stands abandoned and operates as a haunted attraction during select months.

Rolling Hills Asylum began in 1827 as the Genesee County Poor House to house the elderly, poor, and orphaned, adding an infirmary in 1938 and a nursing home in 1958. After closing in the 1970s, the property became known for its alleged paranormal activity. Several paranormal investigators have said theyve seen apparations and heard things.We decided to pay a visit to the asylum to see for ourselves.We found no evidence supporting these claims.

Exploring the abandoned Paramount Resort in the Catskills region of Parksville, New York, it was closed after a fire in 2000. The resort originally opened in 1928 as the Schenk's Paramount Hotel; it was a destination during the "Borscht Belt" era before being sold and later becoming a Best Western.



The property is listed for sale online.

J.N. Adams Memorial Hospital was established in 1912 in Perrysburg, NY, as a tuberculosis hospital, funded by Buffalo mayor J.N. Adam. It served as a Buffalo city-owned TB treatment centre until 1960, when it was converted into a mental facility. The hospital permanently closed in 1993 and has since fallen into disrepair but is still truly a work of art. The dining hall has featured a beautiful stained glass dome for decades; people in Perrysburg and the surrounding area have believed the dome was salvaged from the Temple of Music, where President William McKinley was assassinated in 1901.



Warning : the hospital is now on private party enclosed by a fence and patrolled by the New York State Police. Safe urbexing friends !!
