I got to photograph sweet Logan for the third time this past weekend. This outtake is not representative of his attitude during his 6 month session! He was a champ for a studio portrait session and an outdoor portrait session one after the other. Near the end, he was just tired and didn't want his Mama to put him on the ground.

I had the amazing opportunity yesterday to photograph the birth of this beautiful baby! I had a 2 hour window when my husband could watch the girls before he had to be back to work, and it was the exact 2 hours that I needed. I arrived just as she was beginning to push and I am so happy that I was able to capture the birth of Jaala & Richie's beautiful baby boy! I can't wait to get him in the studio to do his newborn pictures!

We are officially moved to Spokane and I am working on figuring out how to get business going again up here...business licenses and sales tax and all sorts of other things to get sorted out. But I did photograph a friend's maternity portraits shortly after moving in. Can't wait to do her son's newborn portraits soon, too!

Well, I have been putting off writing this post, but at some point it has to be done. If you haven't already heard, my family will be moving to Spokane, WA this summer. I will not be doing any sessions in Cottage Grove after July 31, except by special arrangement. So, if you need a session before I leave, please contact me ASAP to get on the schedule! I will not be getting rid of any files when I leave town, so if you have had a session in the past, your files are all still safe. Please let me know if you would like to place any orders before I leave. Also, I am available to come back to Cottage Grove for sessions, but it will need to be worth my while to make the drive. :)

South Lane Ballet Academy pictures have been delivered to the studio, with the exception of any unpaid orders. There were a few orders that ended up missing one or more prints. Those have been reordered and will arrive Friday afternoon. I will deliver those to the studio as soon as I have them.

I tried to get a little of everything. A few of the pictures of the awards/senior gifts are a bit blurry because I was holding Ella and the camera at the same time. :) Remember, purchases from these galleries support the CGHS music department!

Almost packed up for the South Lane Ballet Academy Spring Recital! Will be taking individual and group portraits of ballet, tap, jazz, modern & hip hop dancers of all levels & ages from 9am until 1pm, then photographing the show at 3pm, which just happens to include my little ballerina. :) It's hard to believe this is my 6th year photographing this group, and watching these dancers grow!
