Hi everyone. In 2018 at Emerald City Comic Con we were doing a photoshoot outside to promote a project we were working on in collaboration with .kamistry . While we were taking photos, a cosplayer saw us and crashed our shoot (in the best way possible, cons are the best kind of artistry and chaos and magic) and this turned into a beautiful relationship for and I. But now, she has just been diagnosed with cancer. Its overwhelming and its scary, and we could use the support of our cosplay community. My girlfriend of 4 years, my moon and stars, my penguin marriage partner, my chaos gremlin, my punk rock girl, has inoperable cancer. We found out a couple of weeks ago that she had cancer. We found out today that its too big to remove. Now she needs more tests and the Dr's are saying chemo, possibly with radiation. Shes already medically fragile from a covid/pneumonia/allergy related lung issue that resulted in 24/7 oxygen support after her lungs collapsed twice and she survived a 3 month hospital stay a few years ago. Shes dealing with a lot, and I want to try my best to support her, because I love her. Its awful because I cant do anything to fix it, and I dont want to make this about me or my feelings at all. But I have a lot of them right now, and I could use some friends and support right now as well. Tell people you love them and cherish them because life flipping sucks, its often too short, and all we have is each other. ❤️
