‘One more time’☝️ I would say to my parents as I paddled back out to catch another wave at our favorite Waikiki beach hangout.

‘Okay, just one more’ they’d say back.

It was one of my favorite things to do with my sister and my dad, with my mom always generously offering to watch our stuff from the beach.

There are some memories that never go away! I’m reminded of the fondest of them when I visit, and it never gets easier saying goodbye.

HELLO!!! 🌟 I’ve been quiet on here this month and it’s because we have had family visiting from out of town for the last few week! Now, we’ve got a few days before we’re off to Honolulu for the holidays!!

I’ve got a few exciting sessions scheduled while I’m there, and I can’t wait to start 2025 with a bang! 🥰 exciting things to come!

I have been absolutely loving all sessions in my studio! The minimalistic and cozy atmosphere gives me so much room to be creative, connect more, and ultimately brings focus to the present moment.

After two weeks of being house-bound, focusing wholly on recovering after my tumor removal surgery, I am feeling good! It’s been quite a year. I describe it as a tornado coming in and turning my life upside down. Everything is still there, but just all over the place, and now’s the time for me to pick up the pieces and rearrange things. That being said, I am headed into Fall with a new attitude and grace for myself:

Showing up and taking small, consistent action is better than no action at all.

I learned many life lessons this year, and it’s been a full-time job taking care of myself everyday, but I am grateful to be on the other side of the tornado, now with clear skies and enough peace to gather the things that are important to me and put them back together. 🤍

I have been obsessed with studio maternity sessions! They are simple and inviting, comfortable and sweet. It’s in the quiet and uninterrupted moments when true emotion comes out, and those are my favorite to capture! ❤️

Here’s my thing about Fall 😅 it’s my second favorite season BUT…. I also know that when it’s comes, my least favorite season is also coming 🥶

But friends, this is the year I’m going to try new things! The plan is to enjoy winter by getting into snowboarding or skiing, snowshoeing, and maybe even some snow camping.

Do you think I can live winter by the end of it?

How does booking a newborn session date work? 🤍

Babies come on their own special timing, sometimes before and sometimes after your due date! This means that we have to be extra flexible with your newborn session date. To book a newborn session date with TWP, I offer two options:

1. Pencil in a date within a week from your due date, knowing flexibility is key
2. Pick a date when baby arrives

How does #2 work? I only take maximum 4 due dates per month, ensuring that you’ll have your pick of dates when your little miracle arrives! 🤍
