Is still a thing? Hard to believe how small my little neice used to be. We did a family shoot with her little sister and her parents before it got cold. And it's wild to see how much she's grown since her first photo shoot.

Third attempt painting with light.
Starting to get a bit of a hang for it, or it might have just been and improvement from having an assistant. Maybe both.
Thank you so much Mariah for helping me and enduring a long shoot. I think you're the reason I got anything good out of this, you kept me sane and kept me doing a good job when I was tired and hungry!

This was my first attempt at painting with light and I really enjoyed the process and the outcome.
I had the basic image in my head when I started kinda with Momento mori as the general inspiration. Somehow without the knowledge that it is a whole part of the art world... I just learned it from

If you dont know, Momento Mori means remember you must die... And not really in a bad way. Life means nothing if there is no end. Do those things you always dreamed of and tell your people you love them while you can.

I was so honored to get to capture Skyler and Brad's couple photos/very late engagement photos. They didn't get the chance to have engagement photos or couple photos in general until after they were married. It was an interesting experience shooting a couple that is already settled into marriage. There was a level of comfort between them that made things very easy. I recommend married couples getting photos done again a few years into marriage now! 💕💛🤵🏻👰🏻
