Well, here we are. I can hardly believe I’ve been nominated again for Best Photographer Outside of Seattle and now Best Destination Photographer in Washington State. Being recognized alongside such incredible talent in this area is truly humbling, and honestly still feels surreal. I wouldn’t even be writing this if it weren’t for the amazing humans who follow my work and support my little corner of the internet. The fact that even one person believes I deserve to be nominated for something of this caliber means more to me than I could ever put into words.
Photography has been such a driving force in my life and has brought me more joy than I could have ever imagined. Over the last few years — especially through some of the hardest moments in my own life — showing up to celebrate others and document such meaningful memories has truly kept me going. I’ve spent the past seasons with my head down, traveling, working hard, and pouring my whole heart into telling your stories. It has changed my life in ways I can’t fully explain and ignited such a creative spark in my soul. To every single person who has trusted me to walk alongside you during these moments: thank you. My heart is so full, and simply having my name in the conversation again feels like the biggest win of all.
