April Highlights
What’s new in real estate media this month:
• Floor plans are quickly becoming a standard. One Arizona MLS required floor plans on all listings this month — already the second in 90 days. This trend is spreading, giving buyers a clearer understanding of layout and flow before they even step inside. (We include floor plans at no extra cost.)
• Twilight images drive significantly more attention. Listings using a twilight photo as the main image get up to 76% more views. With day-to-dusk editing, this look is easier and more accessible than ever. (You receive two twilight images with every twilight order.)
• Carousels and short-form video are leading on social media. Instagram carousels generate more saves and shares, while Reels under 60 seconds expand reach beyond followers — making them ideal for showcasing property photo sets like this one.
• AI is accelerating turnaround times. Over 72% of real estate photographers now use AI-assisted tools to streamline editing, meaning faster delivery without compromising quality.
• 3D tours are growing — but with limits. Adoption jumped from 6.7% to 11% year-over-year, the fastest among real estate media services. However, they still tend to underperform on mobile and social platforms where most buyers first engage.
• Buyer trends are shifting. According to the NAR 2025 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, the median buyer age reached 59, while first-time buyers dropped to 21%. Mortgage rates averaged 6.69%, continuing to shape how and when people enter the market.
